     Joseph Hildreth was born on 16 April 1658 in Chelmsford, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.1 He was the son of Richard Hildreth and Elizabeth Hinchman.1 He married Abigail Wilson, daughter of John Wilson and Hannah James, on 25 February 1683/84 in Woburn, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.1 He died on 28 January 1705/6 in Chelmsford at age 47.1
     
     Joseph Hildreth and Abigail Wilson had eleven children.1
