     Samuel Farrar was born on 28 September 1708 in Concord, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.1,2 He was the son of George Farrar and Mary Howe.1 He married Lydia Barrett on 13 January 1731/32 in Concord, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.1 He died on 17 April 1783 at age 74.3
     
     Samuel Farrar settled on the central or homestead portion of his father's farm.3 He was a selectman in Concord.1 He was mentioned in his father George Farrar's will dated 17 March 1749, and proved 9 June 1760.4
