Charles Hamilton Carson
     Charles Hamilton Carson was born on 30 March 1797 in Abingdon, Washington County, Virginia.1 He was the son of Charles Carson and Rachel Clark. He and Jane Downen obtained a marriage license on 23 October 1821 in Posey County, Indiana.2 He died on 6 July 1873 in Posey County, Indiana, at age 76.1
