Nancy Hanks was born on 5 February 1784.1 She was the daughter of "Nobleman so called of Virginia" and Lucy Hanks.3 She married Thomas Lincoln on 12 June 1806 in Washington County, Kentucky.4 She died on 5 October 1818 in Gentryville, Spencer County, Indiana, at age 34.1
