     Mercy Underwood was baptized on 4 August 1805 in Tyngsborough, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.2 She was the daughter of Asa Underwood and Mercy Durant.1 She married as his second wife Savory Tenney Burbank, son of Caleb Burbank and Susan Morse, on 20 April 1847 in Dracut, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.3,4 She died a widow on 10 November 1893 at age 88.5 She was buried in Sherburne Cemetery, East Tyngsborough.5
