Daniel Allen Horn was born on 27 September 1888 in Fairfield, Freestone County, Texas.2 He was the son of William Lemuel Horn and Naomi Simmons.1 He married Esther Rhuama Thomas on 13 May 1914 in Aztec, San Juan County, New Mexico.2 He died on 8 November 1960 in Durango, La Plata County, Colorado, at age 72.2 He was buried on 12 November 1960 in Cedar Hill, San Juan County, New Mexico.2
