     Lettice Hanford was born on 8 June 1617 in Alverdiscott, Devon, England.1 She was the daughter of Jeffrey Hanford and Eglin Hatherly.1 She and Edward Foster were married by Captain Standish on 8 April 1635 at Mr. Cudworth's, Scituate, New Plymouth Colony.1 She married Edward Jenkins by about 1650 in Scituate, Massachusetts.1
