     Lydia Richardson was born on 27 September 1714 in Dracut, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.1 She was the daughter of Captain Josiah Richardson and Lydia (—?—) (Richardson).1 She married Thomas Cummings of Ipswich on 17 July 1736 in Dracut, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.2 She died on 24 November 1753 at age 39.3
     
     Lydia and Thomas Cummings had five children.3
