     Thomas Richardson was baptized on 3 July 1608 in Westmill, Hertfordshire, England.1,2 He was the son of Thomas Richardson and Katherine Duxford.1 He married Mary in England.3 He died intestate on 28 August 1651 in Woburn, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, at age 43.1,4 His personal property was valued at £133, and his real estate at £80.1
     
     Thomas Richardson was named in his father Thomas Richardson's will dated 4 March 1630/31 in Westmill.5 "Item. I give to my sonn Thomas three pounds to be payed to him within the space of fyve yeares next ensueing the decease of me and Kathyrine my now wife."2 Thomas and Samuel followed their brother Ezekiel to Massachusetts where they arrived by 1635/36. In 1637, all three had grants of land on "Misticke side" (Malden).6 His wife Mary's admission to the Charlestown church 21 February 1635/36 was the earliest record of Thomas' family in Massachusetts.1,7 Both Thomas Richardson and Samuel Richardson were on a Charlestown committee 1 July 1636.6 He joined the Charlestown church 18 February 1637/38.1,8 He took the Freeman's Oath on 2 May 1638.1
