Communities include: a large southern portion of the City of Fort Wayne, and the communities of Avalon, Country Club Gardens, Times Corner, Waynedale and Westmoor.

     Wayne Township is located in central Allen County, with the Saint Mary's River flowing through its borders, to join the St. Joseph and Maumee Rivers in downtown Fort Wayne.

     The City of Fort Wayne includes large portions of the following 4 townships: Adams, St. Joseph, Washington and Wayne.
