     John Whitacre was born on 24 November 1678 in Barley, Lancashire, England.1 On 3 12m 1702 (3 February 1701/2) John Whitacre and Jane Scott, daughter of Thomas Bond and Anne Parker, were liberated to marry by Falls Monthly Meeting, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.2 They married 12 1m 1702 (12 March 1702) in Philadelphia.3 He died in 1737 in Makefield township.1
