John Whitacre was born on 14 May 1704 in Makefield township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of John Whitacre and Jane Bond.1 He married Naomi Hulme, daughter of George Hulme Jr. and Ruth Palmer, on 24 June 1734 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania. He died between 1768 and 1775 in Loudoun County, Virginia.1
