     Nathan Ayres Cordrey was born on 31 October 1825 in Fairfield township, Tuscarawas County, Ohio.1 He was the son of Thomas Cordrey and Sarah Shuster.1 He married Mielme Reardon on 11 November 1852 in Tuscarawas County, Ohio.2,1 He died on 10 January 1895 in Perrysville, Vermillion County, Indiana, at age 69.1
