     Benjamin Spaulding was born on 7 April 1643 in Braintree, Suffolk (now Norfolk) County, Massachusetts.1 He was the son of Edward Spaulding and Rachel (—?—).2,1 He married Olive Farwell, daughter of Deacon Henry Farwell and Olive Welby, on 30 October 1668 in Chelmsford, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.1,2 He died before 1708.1
     
     Benjamin Spaulding settled in Canterbury, New London County, Connecticut.1
