Stephen F. Austin
     Stephen Fuller Austin was born on 3 November 1793 in Austinville, Wythe County, Virginia.1 He was the son of Moses Austin and Mary or Maria Brown. He died on 27 December 1836 in Columbia, Brazoria County, Republic of Texas, at age 43.1 He was buried in Peach Point Cemetery, Gulf Prairie, Brazoria County, Republic of Texas. He was reinterred on 20 October 1910 in the Texas State Cemetery, Austin, Travis County, Texas.1,2
