     Colonel Thomas Evans Casselberry was born on 4 July 1790 in Providence, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of Paul Casselberry and Elizabeth Evans.1 He and Rachel Jane Carson obtained a marriage license on 1 September 1812 in Vincennes, Knox County, Indiana Territory.1,2 He married Rachel Jane Carson, daughter of Charles Carson and Rachel Clark, on 8 October 1812 in Knox County, Indiana.1 He died on 3 August 1826 in Posey County, Indiana, at age 36.1
