     Edward Spring Morris was born on 16 August 1854 in Brazoria County, Texas.3,4 He was the son of Anthony T. Morris and Margaret Harris.1,2 He married Burk Yarbrough, daughter of Burk Yarbrough and Lucy Wimberley, on 14 November 1894 in Tyler, Smith County, Texas.3 He died on 14 October 1900 in Tyler at age 46.3,4 He was buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Tyler.4 He was reinterred in Rosehill Cemetery, Tyler.2
