     Mason Morris was born circa 1771.1 He was the son of Benjamin Morris and Mary Mason.1 He married Elizabeth Thomas.2 He died before 1833.3
     
     "Mason learned the clockmaking trade of his father, and followed it for some years."1 In May 1818, the family removed to the state of Ohio at the same time that Mason's sister Martha and her husband Dr. William Williams went out.4
