     Dr. William Williams was born in 1782.2 He was the son of Isaac Williams and Elizabeth Metlen.1 He married Martha Morris, daughter of Benjamin Morris and Mary Mason, on 13 March 1806.1,3,4 He died in 1865.2
     
     William Williams studied medicine with Doctor David Thomas.1 He and his wife Martha lived for several years in Springtown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, where he had a considerable practice.1 In May 1818, the family removed to the state of Ohio at the same time that Mason Morris and family went out.1
