Eliam Morris was the son of William Morris and Ann Griffith.1 He married Elizabeth Vastine.1

He lived some years in Chester County near Waggon town _ then removed within a few miles of Philada and kept tavern on the West Chester road; and there he died a few years ago __ His widow and some of his children are still living in that neighbourhood _ some of them live at wagon town __William when a young man followed his brother Morris to Fayette County, and soon got into the good graces of a sister of Morris's wife and married her _ he has a family of children and continues in the vicinity of Union town where he keeps a public house.1
