Underwood and Allied Families
Griffith Morris was the son of William Morris and Ann Griffith.1

Reverend Joseph Mathias wrote in his journal:
Griffith the youngest son _ when he grew up, took a journey out to the west to see his brothers and families and to seek his fortune _ He was likewise directed to the house of Squire Springer where he formed an attachment the third daughter and married her, and continues to live in that neighbourhood. There we find that 3 of Wm Morris's sons married 3 sisters, an occurrence that seldom takes place.1
