Additional Data
Griffith Hugh was among the Friends (Quakers) who united in 1709/10 to raise money to build a new meeting house at Gwynedd, to replace the original log meeting house built in 1700. He signed the subscription paper dated "the sixth day of the first monthy in the year one thousand seven hundred and nine-ten," pledging £2 payable in four installments. The stone structure, completed in 1712, was torn down and a new one was built on the same site in 1823. The stone steps are all that remains of the 1712 meeting house.3

Griffith Hugh was mentioned in his aunt Catherine William's will dated 7 10m 1745 (7 December 1745) in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.4 Click to view image
