     Anna Thomas was born in 1719 in Hilltown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.1 She was the daughter of Reverend William Thomas and Ann Griffith.1 She married Stephen Rowland in August 1757.2 She died on 14 May 1759 in Hilltown.2 She was buried in Lower Hilltown Baptist Church Cemetery.2 Click to view image

Anna Thomas was mentioned in her father William Thomas's will dated 11 December 1753 in Hilltown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.3

In 1757 Anna inherited 100 acres from her father. This land was part of the Langhorne tract bought by her father in 1718. Anna held only a life interest in the property, and at her death went to her brother William as stipulated in her father's will.4,3
