     Mordella Caldwell was born on 31 March 1870 in San Marcos, Hays County, Texas.1 She was the daughter of Robert Milam Caldwell and Mary Elizabeth House.1 She married Edmund G. Minor Jr. on 28 November 1894 in First Presbyterian Church, Houston, Harris County, Texas.1 She died on 2 March 1908 in Mineral Wells, Palo Pinto County, Texas, at age 37.1
