     John Thomas Horn was born on 20 August 1846 in Mississippi.2 He was the son of Elisha Thomas Horn and Marilda Richardson.1 He married Martha F. Nazary on 4 February 1864 in Leake County, Mississippi, CSA.2 He died circa 1864 at Marietta, Georgia, CSA.1

John Thomas Horn enlisted in the War Between the States when he was only fifteen years old. He was wounded and discharged in 1862 because of a disability. After his marriage in 1864, he re-enlisted and was killed a short time later. There was perhaps a child that died at birth.1
