Mary Cobb was listed on the Isle of Wight County quit rent roll, 1704, with 150 acres.2 She was living 26 August 1707 when, as Mary Cobb, widow, of the Lower Parish of Isle of Wight County she relinquished dower in land sold by her step-son, Joseph Cobb.2 Mary Cobb, widow, 26 August 1717, sold to Joseph John Jackman of Surry all her dower rights in 150 acres. Wit: Geo. Goodrich, John Thomas.3 On 10 November 1717, Richard Hutchins and Eliz.. His wife deeded a tract of land in L.P. [Lower Parish, Isle of Wight County, Virginia] now in occupation of Mary Cobb, widow, and widow Jackson. Wit: Nath Ridley, John Denson.3
