     Susan Fair Simmons was born Tuesday, 9 September 1873 in Dyer, Crawford County, Arkansas.1,2 She was the daughter of Reverend William Jared Simmons and Elizabeth Jane Montgomery.3 She married Mathew Jerome "Rome" Peevy on 15 October 1891.2 She died on 1 August 1964 at age 90.4
