     Elizabeth Stowell was born on 21 August 1719 in Newton, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.1 She was the daughter of David Stowell and Patience Herrington.1 She married David Pulcepher on 2 October 1740 in Pomfret, Windham County, Connecticut.1
     
     Elizabeth Stowell and David Pulcepher had eight children.1 David Pulcepher and John, oldest son of David and Elizabeth (Stowell) Pulcepher, were together in the Battle of Bunker Hill. Another son, Ebenezer, was also in the Revolution.1
