     William King was born on 17 May 1776.1 He was the son of David King and Elizabeth Gray.1 He was baptized on 26 June 1776 in First Congregational Church, Biddeford, York County, Maine, by Rev. Moses Morrill.2
     
     William King sold land on 28 August 1795 in Pepperellborough: William King, of Topsham, Lincoln Co., merchant, to Nathl Fernald, land in Pepperellborough.3
