     John Isaac Amadon was born on 10 October 1771 in Oxford, Worcester County, Massachusetts.2 He married second Sarah Thurber, daughter of Isaac Thurber and Rosina/Rezinah Huntoon, circa 1813.1 He died on 7 August 1851 in Tingwick, Quebec, at age 79.2
     
     John Isaac and Sarah Amadon had nine children.2
