John Patterson Jr. was born circa 1736.1 He married Katherine Grandy, daughter of Joseph Grandy and Mary King, on 28 September 1762 in First Congregational Church, Biddeford, York County, Maine. They were married by Reverend Moses Morrill.1,2 He died on 23 June 1796 in Pepperellborough, York County, Maine, of "West India bilious fever."1,3
