     Isaac Stedman was baptized on 24 May 1550 in All Saints Church, Biddenden, Kent.1,2,3 He was the son of Thomas Stedman the elder and Elizabeth Fuller.1 He married Eme Richards, daughter of Thomas Richards and Alice Pearce, on 1 February 1574/75 in Biddenden, Kent.1,4,3 He was buried on 16 January 1601/2 in Biddenden.1,5

Isack was named in the will of Gilbert Stedman, his brother, dated 8 July 1588 in Biddenden, Kent, England,: To Isack Stedman 6s. 8d., to be paid out of the loom by Thomas Stedman, and my best suit of apparel.7

Administration on the estate of Isaac Stedman late of Biddenden was granted to Alice [sic] Stedman relict of the deceased, on 12 February 1601/2, Valentine Baker, tailor, of Biddenden and Thomas Stedman of the same, clothier, being bound in £20. Inventory, £19.8

Account on the estate of Isaac Stedman, entered 3 March 1602/3 by Emme Stedman, the administratrix, shows debts and funeral expenses amounting to £12 7s. 4d., and 40s. each paid to the son of the deceased and to ---------Stedman als Chaplyn, wife of Laurence Chaplyn of Biddenden, daughter of deceased.9
