     Mary married John Emery Jr., son of John Emery Sr. and Alice Grantham, by 1650 ("John Emery, jr., and his wife" were witnesses on 10 October 1650).1 She died on 3 February 1709 in Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts.2
     
     John's wife Mary was not his stepsister Mary Webster, as has been frequently claimed.3
