     Ebenezer Emery was born on 14 September 1648 in Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts.1 She was the daughter of John Emery Sr. and Mary Shatswell.1 She married John Hoag on 21 April 1669 in Newbury.1,2

Ebenezer Hoag was mentioned in her father John Emry, Sr.'s will dated 1 May 1680 in Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts,: to "my daughter Ebenezer Hoag one acre and half of upland at the west end of my home lot joining to that parcel of land which I formerly gave her."3

"Ebneser" was mentioned in her mother Mary Emery's will dated 1 August 1693 in Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts,: to "my daughter Ebneser the rest of my wearing clothes."4
