     Eleazer King was born on 1 December 1811 in Sunderland, Bennington County, Vermont.1 He was the son of Eleazer King and Nancy Fowler.1 He married Mary Caroline Fowler circa 1835.2 He died on 20 March 1897 in Spring City, Utah, at age 85.
     
     Eleazer King was was an elder in the Morman Church, a Mason and farmer. He settle at Spring City, Utah, but was driven from there by the Walker Indians. He was called to settle Circle Valley, and was driven from there by the Black Hawk Indians, losing his home and everything he owned, with the exception of what few things he could gather together, and a few head of cattle. He was a veteran of the Walker and Black Hawk Indian wars, and the Echo Canyon campaign in which he served as drummer boy.2 He lived in Ephraim, Sanpete County, Utah.2
