     Israel Stone was born on 2 September 1728 in Beverly, Essex County, Massachusetts.1,2 He was the son of Jonathan Stone and Hannah Lovett.1 He married Sarah Perkins, daughter of Ensign Thomas Perkins and Mary Wildes.1 He died in 1777 when his widow Sarah administered his estate.3

Israel Stone and his mother Hannah were granted co-administration of his father Jonathan Stone's estate on 1 March 1749/50, and shared in the division made on 26 August 1756 with his mother and siblings Jonathan, John, William and Nehemiah, and only sister Lydia.1
