     Sarah Dixey was born on 1 October 1672 in Swansea.1 She was the daughter of John Dixey and Elizabeth Allen.1 She was baptized on 24 September 1676 in First Church, Beverly, Essex County, Massachusetts.1 She married Thomas Givin in November 1691 in Boston.1

Sarah Dixey was mentioned in her grandfather Captain William Dixey's will dated 21 February 1684/85. She and her sister Elizabeth were to receive, when they came of age, £60 and 60 cords of wood.2
