     Sarah Emery was born on 29 December 1702 in Wells, York County, Maine.1 She was the daughter of Rev. Samuel Emery and Tabitha Littlefield.1 She married first Nathaniel Gilman on 16 September 1725.2 She married second Hon. John Phillips.2 She died in October 1765 at age 62.2
