     Benjamin Fairfield was born on 21 July 1646.1 He was the son of John Fairfield and Elizabeth (—?—) (Fairfield-Palfrey).1 He died on 14 July 1664 in Reading, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, at age 17.2,1 Perley, in his History of Salem, gives the date of Benjamin's death as 14 September 1668.3

In a 1658 lease, Peter Palfrey stated that Benjamin would be twenty years old on 21 July 1666.1
