     Jonathan Butterfield was born circa 1683.1,2 He was the son of Nathaniel Butterfield and Deborah Underwood.1 He married Mercy Richardson.1 He died on 17 April 1750 in Chelmsford, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, "in his 67th year."2 He was buried in Forefather's Burying Ground.3
