     Emily Margaret Brown Austin was born on 22 June 1795 in Austinville, Wythe County, Virginia.1 She was the daughter of Moses Austin and Mary or Maria Brown.1 She married first James Bryan on 31 August 1813 at Mine a Breton, Washington County, Missouri.1 She married second James Franklin Perry on 23 September 1824.1 She died on 25 April 1851 at Peach Point Plantation, Gulf Prairie, Brazoria County, Texas, at age 55.1 She was buried in Peach Point Cemetery.1
