     Allison Brown was the son of Andrew Brown and Elizabeth Harding.1 He married his first cousin Elizabeth Tyler, daughter of Abraham Tyler and Elizabeth Brown, on 11 September 1777 in Second Church, Scarborough, Cumberland County, Maine.2 He was living in 1790 when his family consisted of himself, one boy under sixteen and two females.1
