     Rebecca Spear was born on 31 March 1788.2,3 She married first Andrew Brown, son of Andrew Brown and Elizabeth Harding, on 1 August 1835 in Litchfield, Kennebec County, Maine.2,1 She married second Elisha Thomas on 14 April 1849 in Litchfield, Kennebec County, Maine. However, the marriage was voided because Elisha was legally married to another woman.2
