     Dominicus Scammon Jr. was born on 7 February 1742/43 in Biddeford, York County, Maine.2,1 He was the son of Dominicus Scammon and Rebecca Smith.1 He married Hannah Tarbox, daughter of Joseph Tarbox and Mary Belcher, on 14 September 1762.3 He died on 6 January 1824 at age 80.1
