     Thomas Goodwin was born circa 1733.1 He married Susannah Downing, daughter of Benjamin Downing and Elizabeth Fabyan, on 25 October 1753 in Wells, York County, Maine.1 He died in May 1799.1
     
     Thomas Goodwin and Susannah Downing had fifteen children born in Wells between 1754 and 1777.1
