     John Reardon was born circa 1833 in Ohio.2 He married Dorcas Jane Cordrey, daughter of Moses Ayres Cordrey and Hannah Black, on 4 November 1852 in Tuscarawas County, Ohio.3,1 A Union soldie, John was wounded in the Battle of Kenesaw Mountain and and died on 4 July 1864 in Chattanooga, Tennessee.3
