Moses Ayres Cordrey was born on 9 July 1810 in New Cumberland, Tuscarawas County, Ohio.1,2,3,4 He was the son of Nathan Cordrey and Dorcas Jane Ayres.2 He married Hannah Black, daughter of Philip Black Jr. and Catharine Baughman, on 15 May 1831.2,4 He died on 17 March 1873 in Tuscarawas County at age 62.1,3,4 He was buried in Bisel Church Cemetery, Fairfield township, Tuscarawas County, Ohio,: Moses A.
