     Joseph Emanuel Gramlich was born on 29 April 1860 in Cessna township, Hardin County, Ohio.1,2 He was the son of Johann Friederich Gramlich and Friederike Juliana Foit. He died on 21 November 1867 in Hardin County at age 7.2 He was buried in Smith Cemetery, Washington township, Hardin County.2
