     Ann Steer was born on 10 February 1754.1 She married Joshua Whitacre, son of John Whitacre and Naomi Hulme, on 22 April 1780 in Loudoun County, Virginia.1 She died in 1830 in Columbiana County, Ohio.1

On 22 4m 1780 (22 April 1780) Ann Whitacre married out of unity and was disowned by Fairfax Monthly Meeting, Loudoun County, Virginia. Her acknowledgement was accepted and she was reinstated 27 10m 1781 (27 October 1781) in the name of Ann Whitacre.2

Ann Whitacre transferred from Fairfax Monthly Meeting to Goose Creek Monthly Meeting in 1785 when that Monthly Meeting was established.3

On 26 9m 1803 (26 September 1803) at Goose Creek Monthly Meeting Ann Steer was granted certificate to Fairfax Monthly Meeting.4

On 24 12m 1803 (24 December 1803) at Fairfax Monthly Meeting Ann Whitacre was received on certificate from Goose Creek Monthly Meeting, dated 26 9m 1803 (26 September 1803).5

On 24 11m 1804 (24 November 1804) at Fairfax Monthly Meeting Ann Whitacre was granted certificate to Middletown [sic] Monthly Meeting, Ohio.6

On 13 4m 1805 (13 April 1805) at Middleton Monthly Meeting, Columbiana County, Ohio, Ann Whitacre was received on certificate from Fairfax Monthly Meeting, dated 24 11m 1804 (24 November 1804).7
