     Esther Oberholtzer was born in 1728 in Deep Run, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.2 She married George Bachman, son of George Bachman and Anna Maria Schnebele, on 16 November 1748 in Pennsylvania.3 She died in 1812 in Upper Saucon township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.2
     
     Esther and George Bachman had eleven children, one son and ten daughters.
